If you dont' have time to get to a yoga class and prefer a session in your own home, Judy works with clients on a 1-2-1 basis or with partner, family or a small group of friends for:

What to expect in a yoga session

In the West, yoga has become a form of physical exercise, a sequence of asana (postures) which help build strength, flexibility and stamina. In its original form developed in thousands of years ago, yoga is a philosophy and a life system. It brings about a way of living in the world which creates joy, peace and balance. The physical postures are an important way to find out how the body is working mechanically and the way the mind works. Therapeutic yoga can have positive effects mentally and emotionally, our internal dialogue and relationships to others. It is not a matter of practicing and learning something new - all the knowledge we need is buried deep inside ourselves. Yoga brings physical, mental and emotional stability through the journey of rediscovering our true nature.

The first session begins with a general discussion and history to establish an appropriate practice. It really depends on the individual and what you would like to get from practicing yoga. We are all different and as such, may need a different kind of yoga practice - You do not need to have any previous experience of yoga to gain wonderful benefits with dedicated teacher, Judy Hirsh.
