Judy Hirsh runs yoga workshops in north London – they are usually longer than a class to allow more time for enquiry and go deeper into our self observations. No experience of yoga is necessary for most of these workshops.

Yoga for stress

No experience of yoga necessary. Do you suffer from any of the following stress-related conditions: backache, irritability, indigestion, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression? Would you like to learn simple techniques to help you cope more effectively with stress? Yoga, breathing and relaxation techniques take stress off the body to keep you healthy and feeling good...reduce healthcare costs as well as stress-related conditions.   With dedicated yoga teacher Judy Hirsh.

These 2hour workshops involve simple stretches, yoga poses, and joint-releasing movements, breathing exercises, yoga nidra (guided deep relaxation), and restorative positions to settle the body and calm a restless mind. Once the body is responsive, deep relaxation takes the stress off the nervous system and immune system so the body can restore itself to its natural balance and good health.
